I was raised in Belton, SC and attended Belton-Honea Path High School (Class of 1986).  I married Bethany Haggard in 2004. My family is very well known in the community. My parents are Roy Mac and Carolyn Haggard.  I also have an older sister, Ann, who now lives in Charleston, SC. 

​I graduated from Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I worked for several Chiropractic offices before opening up Palmetto Family Chiropractic in September 2003.
